Frequent locations (home, work...)
After understanding how data is processed to define a visit to a location, a frequent location algorithm can help detect the locations where a user spends a lot of their time.
Overnight stays, day in day out, reveal someone’s home location. Frequent stays multiple hours in a row during the day, often suggest the work location of an individual. Similarly, owners of weekend homes at the sea coast or students that have their residency during the week in the city where they study can be identified as well.
Evaluations on our test users have shown that the algorithm achieves very high accuracy in identifying these frequent locations.
